Electric vehicle charge point (EVSE) installation

With the rapid increase in the use and ownership of electric and hybrid vehicles Positive Services have ensured that the company remains up-to-date with developing technologies and the regulations that relate to their installation, with additional City & Guilds qualifications in Domestic, Commercial and Industrial Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation and manufacturer-specific product training.

The company is registered with the government's Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV - formerly OLEV) as an authorised installer for both the EVHS (Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme) and the WCS (Workplace Charging Scheme), demonstrating that the company has proven that it is registered with an electrical association, is suitably insured for public liability, that staff have been suitably trained and qualified to install EV charge points, and that the company are approved installers for chargepoint manufacturers' equipment.

All such new works require a notification to the electricity network provider regarding the proposed additional load.  Applications for the EVHS and WCS enable homeowners and companies to claim a grant toward the cost of installation - currently up to £350 for homeowners until April 2022. Positive Services are able to complete all of the administration required for EV chargepoint installation on your behalf.

Positive Services receive enquiries for EV chargepoint installation from the OZEV register for installers, manufacturers referrals and recommendations from satisfied customers. Contact us to arrange an assessment visit for expert, friendly guidance.
